About the Ballot Repository

The Rutgers New Jersey Ballot Repository was conceived by Professor Ronald Chen of Rutgers Law School and Professor Julia Sass Rubin of the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy. The repository’s creation was made possible with funding from the Rutgers Law School Samuel and Lois Pratt Fund and the efforts of a wonderful team of graduate student researchers. Professors Chen and Rubin envisioned this as a resource where researchers could access historical primary and general election ballots from across the state.
